Mona : Hello mam' , do take a seat.
Mrs.Vasanthy : Thank you ( get's seated)
Mona : Today mam, i'm going to be asking you questions regarding being a housewife.
Mrs.Vasanthy : Yes , do go ahead
Mona : So, how long have you been a house wife Mrs.Vasanthy ?
Mrs.Vasanthy : It has been 22 years since i've become a housewife.
Mona : That definately has been a very long time indeed . So mam, what are the responsibilities of a housewife, what do you do all day long ?
Mrs.Vasanthy :In general a housewife is reponsible for the people at home and all the house chores. I do lots of driving . Driving my kids to and back from school and tuition classes, driving my in mother in law for her check ups . I do marketing twice a week . If per schedule , I wake up in the morning and send my kids to school ,then i come home and clean the house and cook , and then , i pick my children back from school, and then i make sure , the cloths are washed and the washed cloths are folded . And after that, send my children to tuition classes and come home to prepare dinner and then after picking up my children , I make sure they're fed and I then guide them with their homeworks and sent them off to bed . After that I make sure I iron all the cloths that would be worn for the next day and I go off to sleep .
Mona : Well, that was very in detailed mam. What happens if you fall sick mam ?
Mrs.Vasanthy : That's the magic of being a housewife . We're always on the go that we never have time to even get sick but somehow , when it happens my children and husband seem to handle things pretty well.
Mona : Have you ever worked mam ? If you have , do you wish you were at work instead of being at home doing house chores ?
Mrs.Vasanthy : Oh yes I have ! I worked for almost 10 years as an accountant before I got married and since then onwards I have been a housewife and I never have regretted even a day. I would certainly say that being a housewife is as tough as being a chief accountant at a company , all because we play all the different kind of roles . We housewives are caretakers of our children , home cleaners , chefs at the kitchen , and finance manager at home and so that definately would explain how hard it is being a housewife but there's that little joy that at the end of the day , you're satisfied that you did all this for the well being of your family .
Mona : That was an awesome explanation mam ! I would certainly respect all housewives after this , we'll mam's thank you so much for you time and answers ,it was great talking to you.
